Administrative History: The Missouri Association for the Blind was founded in 1911 in St. Louis to provide services that included a blindness prevention program, and vocational training and employment assistance of blind and visually impaired persons.The organization would later become the St. Louis Society for the Blind.and Visually Impaired.
