Museum holdings include the first Report for 1903-1910 of the Massachusetts Association for Promoting the Interests of the Blind, as the agency was originally known; the 1960 and 1963 Annual Reports of the Massachusetts Association for the Adult Blind; and the 1968, 1970, and 1971 Annual Reports (MAB).

Administrative History: The Massachusetts Association for the Blind (MAB) is the oldest social service agency in the United States for blind and visually impaired persons. It was established in 1903 as the Massachusetts Association for Promoting the Interests of the Blind and initially provided services to only blind adults. The agency began publication of "Outlook for the Blind" in 1907 and was associated with the periodical through 1922.
