Description: Guide has two parallel metal rods for guiding handwriting. Rods are attached to a small carriage that slides up and down along a notched stationary metal rod mounted vertically on the front left of a masonite board. Carriage pivots, allowing movable rod section to be lifted up for placement of paper; board has paper clamp at top. Also included, a booklet entitled "Teaching the Blind Script-Writing by the Marks Method: A Manual," developed by Anna S. Marks and Robert A. Marks, published by the American Foundation for the Blind, revised edition, 1956, Educational Series, No. 8.
