Scope & Content: Proclamation is printed on one side of a single sheet of ivory parchment paper that features, at center, a background image of Louisville Metro Hall and, at bottom left, an embossed gold-foil and blue-ribboned seal of the Louisville Metro Government (fleur-de-leis and two stars encircled by the words "Louisville Jefferson County, Metro"). It is signed at bottom right by Tina Ward-Pugh.

Administrative History: At the Louisville Metro Council (Kentucky) meeting of March 13, 2008, Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh (District Nine) presented a proclamation in honor of the 150th anniversary of the American Printing House for the Blind (APH), a company that was founded in Louisville on January 23, 1858 and that is located in District Nine. On hand to accept the proclamation were APH President Tuck Tinsley, who also spoke after Ward-Pugh, and APH Vice President Gary Mudd.
