Scope & Content: Tea card is number 23 in a series of 50 cards about "Inventors & Inventions." The tea cards were "Issued With All Brooke Bond Tea And Tea Bags." --back of card. On the front of the card is a four-color illustration of a blind man reading braille. The tea card series and manufacturer are identified on the back of the card. Included on the back is "Written by Ken Roscoe" and "Illustrated by Barry Rowe." A paragraph, titled "Reading for the Blind, 1829," briefly describes Braille's invention of the raised dot system.
