Description: Gauge is white on front and black on reverse and is designed for identifying paper money of New Zealand. One end of a note (bill) is placed into a slot on the front left-hand side of the gauge. The other end of the bill is aligned with the right-hand side of the gauge, which has graduated lengths (steps) to match the lengths of New Zealand bills. The steps, top to bottom right, measure $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 bills. Each step also has the corresponding number in raised braille. Made by Kentergraph for the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind. Engraved on the front of the plate: "Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind," with the organization's logo, phone number, and Web address; and, the logo and name of the sponsor, "Reserve Bank of New Zealand." The manufacturer's name, logo, and Web address are engraved on the reverse.
