Administrative History: Materials found in Department of Educational Research. Lois Harrell worked for 20 years as a home counselor with the Blind Babies Foundation in California. For the next 11 years, she helped establish the Children's Vision Center at the UC Davis School of Ophthalmology and served there as Project Director. She was a frequent consultant at APH, and received the creative use of braille award from APH in 2006.
