Summary/Description: Volume five of a French prose literature book embossed on single sided pages in uncontracted braille; signatures are separated at spine by thin paper spacers; embossed from set type (individual type lines are lightly visable, and a heavy intaglio border is present); title page is embossed in Roman letters formed with dots (see slates by Ballu for method) and enclosed in a dotted rectangle; the page after the title page is a key to braille embossed in raised letters; a secondary title page follows, embossed in braille, but with a partial translation inked in below the braille characters and then later partially erased; original text block rebound in a reproduction blue marbled paper binding with black linen spine and two bookmarks; pencil inscription on front endpapers, "Breton, Rue des Grands Augustins 19, Spécialité de papier pour écriture,des Aveugles."
