Summary/Description: Item is a single 44-page issue of the Ladies' Home Journal, June 1902, containing the third part in a series of articles by Helen Keller titled "The Story of My Life," on pp. 7-8. Keller describes her childhood travels during the years 1888-90, including her first visit to Perkins, and her experience of learning to speak. The article includes 5 photo illustrations showing the Perkins Institution for the Blind in Boston, a specimen of braille, and the author with her mother, sister, and a friend.
