Summary/Description: Brown paper cover; thread stitching. Single-sided embossing. Issue contains pages 101-121 and an index to vol. 3. A list of Kneass' publications with prices appears on front cover. "Published bi-monthly" -- t.p. Napoleon B. Kneass, Jr., of Philadelphia, devised his raised letter system for tactile reading in 1867. He combined the capital letters of Philadelphia Line type with lower case letters like those of Boston Line type. His magazine was probably the first to be published in the U.S. for blind readers. Title of magazine varies: Kneass's or Kneass'.
