Description: Audible light detector made of black plastic AAA battery case fitted with optical sensor and circuit board; sensor is at the top end of the device and covered with soft, black plastic tip with small hole in end; outer side of the opaque plastic circuit board is round yellow button, which activates sensor when pressed; below button, in white raised letters, is "Kentucky Light Probe." audible tone emitted though a gray circular projection beneath the letters; tone becomes louder as the detected light source beomes more intense; battery compartment has no cover and holds two AAA batteries; assembled from print circuit board available through the Kentucky Department for the Blind and other parts available from various manufacturers.
