History/Provenance: APH began recording Newsweek Magazine in 1959. The company celebrated the 30th anniversary of their relationship with Newsweek in 1989 with a reception on the front lawn honoring the magazine's legendary publisher, Katherine Graham. Narrators who had worked on the 30th anniversary commemorative edition were honored with a crystal paperweight. The event was documented by Louisville photographer Mike Tonegawa, working on contract for APH.
