Scope & Content: Videos of 1995 and 1996 annual KAER (Kentucky Chapter of the Association of Education and Rehabilitation for the Blind and Visually Impaired) conferences, which featured a keynote address by Mary Nelle McLennan, then-director of APH Educational and Advisory Services, and presentations by Kevin O'Connor (1995) and James Warnke (1996).

Administrative History: The American Printing House for the Blind (APH) is a corporate member of KAER, the Kentucky Chapter of the Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (AER), an organization for professionals in the blindness field. Representatives from APH actively participate in KAER meetings and conferences and regularly serve on KAER committees. The 1995 and 1996 annual KAER conferences were held at the Kentucky Leadership Center, located in Faubush, KY. APH had video recordings made of the conferences for company use. These videos were a part of in-house video collection maintained by the APH Communications Department, which coordinates the company's audio/visual services.
