Administrative History: The Jefferson County Association for the Blind was established in 1919 in Watertown, New York to provide services to blind and visually impaired persons of Jefferson County. It was incorporated in 1938. Among the services provided have been consultation and referral services, transportation assistance, eye screening health fairs, and adaptive aids.
