Description: Janis Gray was a Washington native who attended the University of Washington. Married in 1947 she moved to Chicago where she acted in the theatre and television commercials. After moving to Louisville in 1969, she earned a degree in theatre arts and speech at the University of Louisville and shortly thereafter joined the narration staff at APH. Janis read over 500 titles before her retirement in 2004.
