- J.H. Meijer, director of the Instituut van Blinden-Onderwijs in Amsterdam, writes about the education of blind persons. Text is in Dutch. Included with separate pagination is a speech/lecture, printed in German, about the employability of educated blind persons that Meijer presented at the Blind Teacher Congress held in Berlin, July 30, 1979: "Ueber die Arbeitsfähigkeit gebildeter Erblindeten." Inserted loose in the booklet are three embossed raised-letter specimens of the same text in German, Dutch, and English; the first embossed in 1879 and the other two in 1880. Paperbound with blue cover.
