“I Can’t See You” advertising pin for Tokio cigarettes

Description: Item is a button pin issued as a premium with cigarette packs. It shows a cartoon drawing of a bearded man wearing dark eyeglasses and a hat, with the word "blind" beneath his beard, and the caption "I can't see you." The lettering and illustration are black on a white background. The cartoonist's signature, "RL Goldberg" [Rube Goldberg] appears in the illustration, at left. A cardboard insert on the back identifies the advertiser as "TOKIO Cigarettes, Factory No. 649 1st Dist. N.Y., T.J. Gleason, Brooklyn, N.Y. U.S.A." Slight rust stains along metal rim on back.
