Administrative History: The Cincinnati Association for the Welfare of the Blind was established in 1910 and incorporated in 1911 as a private, non-profit organization to provide rehabilitative, informational, and employment services to blind persons in the Greater Cincinnati area. It would become known as the Cincinnati Association for the Blind in 1946 and, in 2004, as the Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
