Description: Abacus has a wooden base and wire rods with plastic beads. The rods arc so that the beads move freely up and over the arc. Rods are arranged in 11 columns, with 11 short rods at the top that hold a single bead each and 11 longer rods at the bottom that hold 4 beads each. There is no horizontal bar. The bottom of the base is covered in red felt.
