Description: Black-and-white matte; title appears in a photo caption in the 1912 Report of the Kentucky Institution for the Education of the Blind. Male students at the Kentucky School for the Blind are pictured in a synchronized weightlifting activity led by a female teacher. The class is in a large ballroom with an organ visible to the right. There are five rows of boys; they have their arms outstretched, holding rounded barbells; feet are spread wide apart.
