Administrative History: The Greater Pittsburgh Guild for the Blind was established and incorporated in 1959 to provide rehabilitation services to blind and visually impaired residents of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The non-profit organization would later serve individuals in a multi-state area. In 2005, it merged with the Pittsburgh Blind Association to form Blind and Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh.
