History/Provenance: Negative of an image that appears in a pamphlet called "Facts About the Education of Blind Children" by The New York Institution for the Education of the Blind, 1939. An enlarged copy of the original image was used in a mathematics exhibit in the Callahan Gallery of the Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind.
