Description: Black-and-white glossy shows a girl in a pinafore dress with bows in her hair, standing at a table at center, reading by touch and aloud from Discovery, a braille magazine for blind children, to girls who are sighted and sitting, three to her left and three to her right, around the table. A woman, also sits at right, wearing eyeglasses and a hat on her head, watching the reader. A wood door is in the background behind the reader. A map of the Holy Land with printed text is in the background at left. Remainder of the background of the photo has been painted blue. Crop marks are visible around the edges and notations in the bottom margin. On reverse is a handwritten date and descriptive information, photographer's stamp in black ink, the number 4330E stamped in purple ink, and in pencil: "Credit: The John Milton Society, New York."
