Engraved inscription on front: "New York State Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired presents the George E. Keane Award to Douglas Inkster in recognition of twenty years of distinguished service to the rehabiliation of blind and visually impaired persons, and as an expression of sincere gratitude, November 11, 1985, Shirley Hahs, Chairperson of Awards Committee [and] Veronica Gilligan, Anne Yeadon, Presidents." AER logo on smaller plate at top left. Two holes on reverse for hanging on wall.
