Description: Front of gold medallion shows the Chinese symbol for "Blessing" surrounded by five colorful mascot images for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. Text in Chinese and English reads: "Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying, and Nini" and, at bottom center, "Fuwa's Blessing." Reverse has the text "The Games of the XXIX Olympiad," in Chinese and English, with the Olympiad emblem at top center and the image of the Temple of Heaven at bottom center. A collection certificate notes a limited circulation of 80,000, serially numbered. Number 36093 is stamped in red on certificate; 102941 also appears in margin. Medallion is in a clear plastic container, approximately 1/8 in. larger in diameter, with removable lid, and rests in a tan vinyl-covered case with red felt lining and hinged lid. A removable, card stock sleeve fits around the case.
