Summary/Description: Report of a study conducted by the American Printing House for the Blind "to answer the question "What will be the state of the field of education of blind persons in the year 1991?" Data was gathered from a questionnaire sent to professionals in the field of blindness who were selected based on training and experience and worked in programs at public day schools or residential schools, or in personnel preparation, or other blindness-related programs. Responses were evaluated and to be used for APH product and services planning. Issued in October 1986, the paper was presented at the APH annual meeting of that year. Publication data from cover sheet. Photocopy; cover sheet has APH logo at top left.
