History/Provenance: Fine Motor Development Materials: Twist, Turn, and Learn was introduced as an APH product in 1987. The kit was organized into 8 modules of colorful objects of various sizes, shapes, and textures for grasping, reaching, pulling and releasing, with some objects emitting sounds through handling. APH research scientist Sheri Bortner Moore was the project director. The Teacher's Guidebook was transferred to the APH Museum from the APH Research Department.
