Description: Front page: black-and-white glossy. An American flag is on a flagpole outside of a one-story building. there are people outside the building, as well as steps leading down a path to the left of the frame. Caption says, "The Stars and Stripes waves over one of the school buildings while the children play under its shadow." Reverse page: black-and-white glossy. These two pictures show the Emperor and Empress of Japan visiting the school. He wears a suit, and she wears a kimono. The children and staff are dressed in their nicest attire--girls and women wear dresses, and boys and men wear suits. Caption says, "A Visit by Emperor Hirohito and the Empress in 1950 was a gala occasion at the school. The Emperor spent several hours inspecting classes and activities of the school."
