Description: Three color slides show Jackie Oliver using a clamsell (platen) press at the American Printing House for the Blind (APH) to produce an embossed sheet of braille. She stands in front of the large press: slide 1, manually inserting a single sheet of paper between open metal embossing plates in the press; slide 2, releasing her hands from the inserted paper; slide 3, holding the edge of the embossed paper in both hands as she begins to remove it from the press. Slide mounts are dated March 1991 and have a copyright symbol and name of photographer stamped in black ink.
