Description: Item is thought to be the title page to a series of botany illustrations produced in relief by Martin Kunz. Loose page with embossed pictures of flowers and plants; centered at the bottom in German braille is "Naturkunde von M. Kunz." Portions of the relief pictures are barely discernible; relief pictures and braille are crooked on the page; paper is slightly soiled. This item is a duplicate of 1998.80.117, except for heavier paper of slightly larger dimensions and the exclusion of author's name and location in script. Martin Kunz was director of the Blind Institute at Illzach, Germany and a leading producer of relief pictures and maps in the 1890s.
