Administrative History: The Duluth Lighthouse for the Blind was established as a non-profit organization in 1919 to provide vocational and rehabilitative services to blind and visually impaired persons of Duluth, Minnesota and the surrounding areas. It was incorporated in 1921 and originally called the St. Louis County Association for the Blind. The name was changed in 1933.
