Scope & Content: Mountain ranges are elevated; river systems are indicated by raised lines; no labeling on mapped area; title of map, location (Illzach) of creator and creator's name are embossed in raised letters along the bottom edge; map may have been printed at the Blind Institute at Illzach. Martin Kunz was director of the Blind Institute at Illzach, Germany and the leading producer of maps in Europe during the 1890s. Many of his maps were produced at the Institute at Illzach.
