Description: Black-and-white matte; title appears in a photo caption in the 1913 Report of the Kentucky Institution for the Education of the Blind. A group of female students in white smocks are standing and cooking over a large island with multiple stovetops at the Kentucky School for the Blind. Kitchen island has built in drawers. In the background, two students are washing dishes. In the center, four students are standing near the island with wrought iron stovetops. To the right, another student is standing by a cabinet of salt and pepper shakers. A large, black pipe extends from the center of the back wall to an oven that is mostly obscured by standing students.
