Description: Two photographs, one glossy black-and-white and one matte color, of the same image of a Desk Model Slate and Stylus, a product of the American Printing House for the Blind (APH) consisting of a wooden board (hinged paper clamp at top and a groove with seven evenly-spaced holes along each vertical side to accommodate slate pegs), a metal braille slate (guide) having 4 lines of 41 cells; and a wooden-handle stylus. Angle shot of board; closed slate at an angle on front of board; stylus at top right. APH catalog number 1-00030-00.
