History/Provenance: Dale Evans Rogers (1912-2001) was a singer, actress, and author who gained fame alongside her husband, motion picture superstar Roy Rogers, who she married in 1947. She wrote 25 books. "Angel Unaware," her first book, told the story of the couple's daughter Robin, born in 1950 with Downs Syndrome. Dwight Smith was the JMS General Secretary.
