- Gray square-shaped container of rigid, molded plastic has a removable lid attached to one side by two short gray-cloth straps. Two straps of the same length and color are attached to the opposite side of the lid and have light-gray plastic pieces with an opening to fasten over molded projections on the box, securing the lid for shipping. Black lettering applied to the top of the lid reads: "Free Matter for the Blind, Property of Recording for the Blind, Inc. [also in simulated braille], New York 22, N.Y." An address-card holder is located above the printed text.
