Computer peripheral in use: Romeo Embosser

Print, Photographic

Accession Number:
2016.29.130-132
Description:
Three photos show a Romeo Embosser in use on a tabletop: one glossy black-and-white and one glossy color show the same image of a man's arm extended over the top of the embosser, his fingertips touching braille text being produced on tractor-feed paper by the computer-driven device; and one glossy color shows a simlar view of the above, with hand closer to the front edge of the embosser. Romeo Embosser was not an APH product; the black-and-white photo appeared in a 1993-1994 APH catalog to show White Fanfold Tractor-Feed Transcribing Paper, Nonpunched, which was a product available from APH. Fred Gissoni (APH) is the user (model) whose hand and arm are in the photos.
