Description: (.1) Talking book tape reproducer, model 2048; instructions are glued to the bottom of the machine; also called a "Tapette"; Accession also includes (.2a) cassette titled "Six Came Flying," (.2b) Canadian National Institute for the Blind cassette mailing pouch (.3) cassette adapter ("Made in England By Specto Ltd, Serial No. 22134" --label on back of adapter), (.4) audio cassette titled "Lord Grizzly," (.5) 18-track audiocassette for the Mark I tape reproducer titled "A Welsh Story." The 18 track, 22 hour audio tape cassette has a tone at the end of each track which stops the Mark I machine "in the event the reader [has] fallen asleep" (donor's information).
