Administrative History: The Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired was established in 1910 and incorporated in 1911. Originally called the Cincinnati Association for the Welfare of the Blind, the name was changed to the Cincinnati Association for the Blind in 1946 and to Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in 2004. The private, non-profit agency offers rehabilitation, counseling, employment and information services to blind and visually impaired persons in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio.
