Description: On the front of the monthly calendar is a black-and-white photo illustration of a blind girl reading a braille book aloud to two deaf and blind girls who are seated next to her, "listening" by touching her mouth as she reads. "Children of the Silent Night" is printed beneath the illustration. Information describing the illustration is printed on the reverse, with "Perkins Institute and Massachusetts School for the Blind, Watertown, Massachusetts" printed at bottom. The school is now called the Perkins School for the Blind. The calendar opens out at bottom to set on a table/desk.
