Description: Black and white photo is mounted on a white card. Photo shows a woman who is seated and is wearing a long dress with a lace collar and bell sleeves. Her hair is pulled back with ringlets around her face. Her eyes are very light. Printed at the bottom margin is Germon, 914 Arch Street, Philada." A 3-cent stamp is on the reverse, beneath a decorative design with the name and location of the photography studio. The number "5-936" is handwritten on the reverse in ink. Cartes de visite were popular during the Civil War era. Small brown stain to the left of the stamp.
