Description: Sepia-toned photo of an elderly blind woman. She is seated. Her attire includes a dark cap with the ribbons tied beneath her chin, a dark dress with long sleeves ruffled at the ends, and gloves, possibly Civil War era. Printed on the back of the card is a crest and banner with the photographer's name and location. Some staining along the edges of the back of the card. The carte de visite (CdV) was popular in the United States during the Civil War era as a photographic calling card.
