Accession Number: 2002.118

Description: Sepia-toned photo is mounted on a white card with gilt edges. Photo shows a blind woman sitting at an organ, facing the photographer. Her left hand is resting on the keys. Her hair is worn in a bun on the top of her head. She is wearing a dark dress with a fitted bodice trimmed possibly in brocade or lace. The same trim is on the overskirt and bottom hem. She appears to have either a chain or ribbon hanging loosely around her neck with a locket(?) at the end. Handwritten at the bottom of the photo is "15c"; barely visible, the numbers and cent sign are white and were on the negative. "Photographic Studio of Will S.
