Description: Sepia-toned photo of a blind man wearing dark eyeglasses and dressed in a Salvation Army uniform with a badge over the left chest pocket. Photo is mounted on a cream colored card. On the back center is printed "From Loupret's Studio., 51 Central St., Lowell, Mass." Date, 1886, and "Blind John" handwritten faintly in pencil in the upper left corner.
