Description: Glossy black-and-white photograph shows Bledsoe, at left, who is wearing glasses, holding the Alfred Allen Memorial Award plaque, which was presented to him on July 20, 1977, by Louis Rives, at right, on behalf of the American Association of Workers for the Blind (AAWB) for "outstanding service to blind persons." Bledsoe's acceptance speech and Rive's presentation speech were published in the 1977 AAWB Proceedings.
