Description:
Bright stamped-aluminum board stamped with twenty-four (24) rows of twenty-three inverse braille cells; frames have rounded corners; four pins up on lower frame engage with four corresponding holes drilled through upper frame; top-hinged open frame to secure the paper has column of twelve guide holes on each side; hinge is riveted to top frame with aluminum rivets and to bottom frame with brass rivets; "Association Valentin Haüy Paris" stamped on the front bottom edge of the upper frame; stamped nickel-plated brass guide, with two lines of twenty-three cells, has brass pins on the back to fit into the guide holes on the sides of the frame, guide has two raised wings on sides, right wing has a small 1/8" diameter cutout on edge.
