Scope & Content: Postcards about the braille code are embossed in braille on the front and include the equivalent in standard print. On the reverse of each postcard, in standard print, is a brief paragraph about Louis Braille and his dot system, and a brief description of what is embossed in braille. Postcards are not divided and have not been used. "Card design and Copyright 1984 by Bertha Napier Reynolds." Braille/print text on front of postcards: .1 - "Braille" - identifies dot positions 1-6 and shows combinations. .2 - "Braille Alphabet and Numbers" .3 - "Braille One-Cell Words And Part-Word Signs" .4 - "Braille One-Cell Words and Part-Word Signs" .5 - "Braille Punctuation" .6 - "Braille, God Is Love, John 4:16" .7 - "Braille, LOVE" .8 - Typewritten card of same size with instructions for using the postcards.
