Description: Gold anodized aluminum interlining pocket slate; curled piano hinge, steel wire; four (4) lines of twenty-eight (28) braille cells; dimples in windows in top frame guide placement of stylus; bottom frame stamped with indented braille cell under each opening in the top frame; slight cutout in open end of lower frame facilitates opening; four paper registration pins (down) in top frame fit into countersunk holes in bottom frame; raised line between rows 2 and 3, raised dot every five columns; stamped on top, "AMER. PRINTING HOUSE FOR THE BLIND LOUISVILLE, KY".
