Description: 2001.200a - Twenty-four reddish-brown checkers are made of molded plastic and stored in their original cardboard box, which measures 1 x 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 in. "One Set Braille Checkers" is printed on the lid. Twelve checkers are round; the remaining are square. "Compliments" and "Wilson Plastics, Inc., Sandusky, Ohio" appear in raised letters on the top of each checker. There is no braille on them. 2001.200b - Folding checkerboard consists of two pieces of paper-covered cardboard joined together with black cloth tape. The playing side has black and red squares and a half-inch decorative border with a checkerboard pattern. "Made in Canada, By the Copp Clark Publishing Co. Limited, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal" is printed at the bottom right corner. The back is covered in black paper. Braille checker games manufactured by Wilson Plastics, Inc. were distributed free of charge by Lions International (see notes for 2000.165a-b).
