Description: (a) Bolex H8 Reflex spring-driven movie camera; aluminum body covered with a pebbled black leather; three lenses on a rotating turret mounting on front: Macro-Switar 36mm, Switar 12.5mm, and Switar 5.5mm; film compartment opens on left side proper, one black aluminum takeup reel present; patents stamped inside compartment (British 739975,76495,76395; U.S. 2702491,2832258,2936131; accessory shoe and carrying strap on top; black hard rubber viewfinder on back; push-button on-off switch on front below lens turret; other controls and indicators on right including film readout, speed dial, ratchet for hand winding the spring, and mount for motorized operation; tripod shoe on base, stamped :194125"; (b) camera accessory, power advance motor; dark-gray/brown enameled aluminum chassis, two nickel alloy screws with knurled heads, steel rod engages hand-crank shaft on camera when attached; rubber power cord with extension installed, in-line on-off switch; stamped in chassis, "21408"; Bolex Paillard logo plate, and table illustrating speed vs. power requirements; (c) camera accessory, Gossen light meter, aluminum foot for accessory shoe, black plastic body with clear readouts on left; pushbutton on top, light aperature on front; printed on dial, "BOLEX FOR H REFLEX"; (d) brown plastic/leatherette accessory case holding spring winding crank and gray rubber viewfinder eyepiece; two snap closure, stamped "KERN-PAILLARD"; (e) original box, blue base with yellow clamshell lid, cloth tape holds lid open, internal cardboard dividers, label, "Bolex paillard, Fine Swiss Mechanisms Since 1814."
